At 19:28 5 July 2024 the Folio web server stopped responding, the load balancer didn’t automatically terminate it and deploy another web server as expected. A new web server was manually deployed and access to Folio was restored. The outage lasted until 19:56 July 2024.
Users will still able to use Folio but there was an impact on downloading newly uploaded attachments for 24 hours due to some recent security related changes.
Folio access was lost by some customers due to an issue with Oracle DynDNS where the name servers stopped responding. Service was restored at 11:45AM.
A background processing node was unable to process jobs and this caused issues with public links and approvals. It also caused delays with email notifications
Our production server was unable to serve traffic for 12 minutes from 10:48 AM to 11:00 AM. A service was identified as unhealthy and required to be restarted.
